The Mountain

The ski region of Flims Laax Falera is one of Europe's most snow and sun rich winter resorts. Thanks to the special freeride areas, the 2 halfpipes, the 4 snow parks and not forgetting the brand new Freestyle Academy (complete with foam pit!), LAAX has become the Mecca for freestylers worldwide.

Its expansive slopes include pistes of all grades of difficulty. The highest point in the ski region - the Vorab glacier - reaches the lofty height of 3018m and what's more, the piste leading down into Laax has been kitted out with a fancy lighting system, allowing night-time descents… oooooohhh.

In addition, the Swatch Snow Park is fitted with multiple video cameras, tackling the obstacles. Video cameras record every jump and trick then the performer's run is played back on the giant screen at the foot of the Snow Park... Epic!

And if that hasn't already sealed the deal, hold tight, as Laax has just opened its Freestyle Academy - the first dedicated indoor freestyle hall in Europe complete with a monster foam pit!

LAAX is all about individuality. Young shredders can enjoy the freedom of LAAX's freeriding or the snow parks, whilst families can take their little acrobats along to the three kids' villages. Skiers of all abilities and all ages can benefit from lessons at the acclaimed ski and snowboard schools on freshly groomed slopes.
